I sailed at Lancing again today. Even bigger swell than yesterday and lots of wind. The plumes coming off the waves were incredible and each one peeled eastwards from somewhere upwind of the cafe down to the sailing club. The faces were solid head high and probably more at times. It was so windy it felt like your sail was going to tear as you pinched upwind on the wave before waiting, waiting, waiting and then throwing it downtheline. The sail then became light but fully powered for endless carves at full speed. Had some right in the pocket like I was surfing, sweet.

Wind shadow was there again, but if anything it gives a bit of respite for the riding once you are on the inside. Didnt need much on the wave today. Rigged a 5.0m fully cranked flat!!
